Sheng Consulting is focused on working with life science clients to ensure successful product, company, and patient outcomes throughout the clinical development process.

Founded by Victor Sloan, MD, Sheng Consulting provides a full range of development expertise to help biotech and pharmaceutical companies design and execute trials that resonate with clinicians, health authorities, and payers, setting the stage for regulatory approval, market entry, and commercial differentiation.

Dr. Sloan has broad expertise in both small molecule and biologics programs, and has worked across all phases of clinical development, from collaboration with discovery scientists in the selection of optimal indication(s) to the successful completion of Phase 2 and 3 trials, regulatory interactions, approval, launch, and commercialization.

Dr. Sloan is a rheumatologist who saw patients for almost 25 years as a volunteer. This ongoing contact with patients reminded him of the continuing need for new therapies. In creating Sheng Consulting, he was drawn to the Mandarin word “sheng,” which can represent both victory and health. Sheng Consulting embodies his desire to help clients work toward the health of patients and their victory over disease.
